DEMO helps you put your education into action with hands-on volunteer and internship opportunities. Students work directly with both musicians and industry professionals that empower them with the expertise and experience needed to succeed in the music business.

The best way to get involved with DEMO is to come volunteer at a DEMO showcase. We are especially in need of folks to help work the door at our 2nd and 4th Thursday Acadia Cafe showcases in Minneapolis. The regular showcases are great way to network with the local music community and find / develop your niche.

We do offer internships to those of you looking to get more involved. These can be for arranged for college credit where applicable. DEMO is an approved off-campus work-study location for students attending McNally Smith College of Music. Contact Jayne Deis in the MSCM financial aid / work study office if you are a student interested reading the job description and (re)applying.

Email Steve McClellan (steve.mcclellan@gmail.com) if you are otherwise interested in getting hands-on experience in grass-roots marketing and concert production by volunteering / interning with DEMO.
